David M. Mathews, Ph.D.

Dr. David Mathews is a former Halo Team Leader in the US Army Special Forces. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences from Lyman Briggs College of Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in mathematics from North Carolina State University. He has been a Green Beret, college professor, research mathematician, and college president. He is an avid rock and ice climber, scuba diver, and skydiver.  He is a USPA AFF, Tandem, and Coach Examiner with a lifetime of educational experience.​​​​
