David M. Mathews, Ph.D.

Dr. David Mathews is a former Halo Team Leader in the US Army Special Forces. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences from Lyman Briggs College of Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in mathematics from North Carolina State University. He has been a Green Beret, college professor, research mathematician, and college president. He is an avid rock and ice climber, scuba diver, and skydiver. He is an AFF Examiner, AFF Instructor, and Tandem Instructor with a lifetime of educational experience.
